How can I become a Christian?
Jesus is the Prince of Peace. He is the source of real peace: the peace
of God. This peace comes from knowing that your sins are forgiven and you will
go to paradise. It is a peace that sustains you through the difficulties and
frustrations of life. The Bible says that you must be at peace with
God through the death and resurrection of Jesus, before you can know the peace of
God. When Jesus died on the cross, He reconciled sinners to God. He took the
wrath of God against our sin upon Himself, so that those who believe in Him
will escape judgment.
The most important thing in life is to make sure that you are at peace
with God. This cannot happen by performing good works or trying to live a good
religious life. No! The Holy Word of God tells us that it is only possible
through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross. If you
look to Him, you will receive the forgiveness of your sins and everlasting life
in paradise with God.
How can I receive Jesus?
You can receive Jesus into your life, now, by talking to Him sincerely
in prayer. Open your heart to Him, acknowledge and confess your sins. Ask God
to wash you from your sins by the blood that Jesus spilt on the cross. God
forgives those who humble themselves before Him in this way. He is perfectly
aware of all that is in your heart, so it is useless trying to hide anything.
God is waiting for you to turn to Him.
I encourage you to take God’s Holy Word (the Bible) very seriously.
Don’t let anything stop you putting right your relationship with God.
- Acknowledge that the Lord Jesus is the Son of God;
- Admit that
you have done many things which are against His will.
Tell Him that you are a sinner and turn away
from all the bad
things you have
done. Ask the Lord Jesus to forgive your sins.
- Open your
heart to Jesus as your Saviour and Lord. Acknowledge
His right to
reign in your life, by submitting to the commandments
in His Word, the
Bible. And ask Him to make you into the person
He wants you to be.
The Lord is ready to adopt you as His child and to welcome you into His
family. He is ready to transform your life. The Bible promises, “as many as
received Him (Jesus Christ), to them He gave the right to become children of
God, to those who believe in His name” (Injil, John

Accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior is just the beginning
of an exciting relationship with Him and the start of a new life. It

2) Be baptized, it is act of
obedience to and a witness for your new Saviour,
3) Become a member of a
fellowship of Christians (church) who accept the Bible as the only true Word of God and
Jesus as the ONLY way to heaven,
4) Begin to read the scriptures, for it tells us who
Jesus is and what He wants for us. If you are new to the study of the
Bible, start with the gospel of John. You will find that God will speak to
you as you read and seek Him.
